P2P ENERGY PLATFORMS WORKSHOP as an ONLINE side event of the URBIS Smart City Fair.

3rd September 2020 from 9:00-12:30 CEST

Peer-to-peer energy trading at a local level could support the optimisation of smart grids, supporting the use of renewable energy and increase energy efficiency. The ATELIER smart city project will demonstrate and evaluation a P2P trading platform in the positive-energy district to be developed in Amsterdam.  In the workshop, the different components of P2P energy trading are discussed. Mark van Wees of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, partner in ATELIER, will present how the energy and climate impacts of the P2P trading pilots could be evaluated.
