ATELIER is pleased to announce its active participation in the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) 2025, which will take place from 4 to 6 November 2025 in Barcelona, Spain. The congress is one of the world’s leading events dedicated to urban innovation, bringing together city leaders, policymakers, researchers, and practitioners to exchange knowledge and shape the future of sustainable and resilient cities.
Booth Session: Making Urban Governance Participative, Impactful and Replicable
As part of the programme, ATELIER will host a booth session titled “Making Urban Governance Participative, Impactful and Replicable” on Tuesday, 4 November, from 12:30 to 13:00 at Booth D 101 in Hall 2. This session will explore the critical role of citizens in driving urban innovation and discuss how participatory governance can strengthen replication processes, enhance innovation ecosystems, and foster capacity building within cities. The session is organised in collaboration with ARV, ASCEND, and NEUTRALPATH, reflecting the shared ambition of European initiatives to accelerate the transition toward sustainable and inclusive urban development.
Conference Session: Pioneering Urban Energy Efficiency and Innovative Solutions
On Wednesday, 5 November, from 16:10 to 16:55, ATELIER will also contribute to the conference session “Pioneering Urban Energy Efficiency and Innovative Solutions” on the Clean Cities Stage. This session will showcase pioneering European Union initiatives that promote energy efficiency, innovative urban services, and sustainable solutions that turn climate ambitions into tangible results. The discussion will feature contributions from Smart Energy Cluster, streamSAVE+, and the European City Facility, highlighting collaborative approaches that drive the implementation of smart, energy-positive urban strategies across Europe.
Throughout the event, ATELIER will be present at the European Commission’s “EU for Resilient Green Cities” stand, a joint space uniting 26 European and international projects and initiatives. Together, these initiatives represent Europe’s collective effort to advance resilient, inclusive, and climate-neutral urban transformation through collaboration and innovation.
