ATELIER recognises the added value of strong cooperation between SCC projects, in particular those dealing with positive energy districts (PED). The University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam leads this activity within ATELIER. We would like to present our approach in supporting the process towards a portfolio approach to SCC PED projects. We see the harmonisation of the monitoring and evaluation frameworks in PED projects as an key area for cooperation.
Close to our heart as an university is cooperation on developing materials for higher education. Education is an pillar of the EUs innovation policies. Future urban professionals will have to roll-out and implement those innovations that the SCC projects are now developing. In ATELIER, therefore, we will develop a Massive Open Online Source (MOOC). We believe that cooperation would increase the impact and broaden the scope of PED cases as student material for the MOOC.
