Once more, we had the privilege of joining the Smart City World Congress in Barcelona, one of the largest and most influential event for cities and urban innovation. Together with interesting projects such as MAKING-CITY EU and POCITYF, we had the opportunity for a joint booth session.
The main emphasis of the joint session was put on driving innovation in Positive Energy Districts, thereby focusing on the intersection of technology, policy and on the question of how to navigate regulatory barriers when developing and implementing Positive Energy Districts.
In collaboration with representatives from the project, we had the chance to discuss how technology and policy can work together to create sustainable energy solutions for cities. The session was moderated by our ATELIER project coordinator Frans Verspeek from the City of Amsterdam,
In addition to that, we were able to engage in meaningful and insightful debates within a panel discussion on “Building Better Cities in Europe through Positive Energy Districts”, featured by representatives from RESPONSE, POCITYF, CARTIF and ATELIER.
