In June 2022, the Positive Energy Districts Conference, organised by Platform31, TNO, Locality and funded by Netherlands Agency, Ministry of Interior Affairs and Kingdom Relations, COST and the European Union, took place in Amsterdam. Our ATELIER project partner TNO and Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences were highly involved in this Conference.
Keynote speaker and ATELIER representative Renée Heller from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences spoke about the topic of business and government engagement and the role of technology, taking into account the importance of the local context and flexibility. In addition, participants had the opportunity to visit local projects focusing on the energy community as well as on the role of commercial parties and integrated neighbourhood development.
