On January 30, the 4th edition of the event series ‘Net Congestion Learn & Share’ took place in Amsterdam at Amsterdam InChange. The session focused on the topic of flexibility in energy use. Omar Shafqat and Sara Rueda from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences presented ATELIER and hosted a parallel session on business models for local energy systems. Ideas for successful and future-proof business models were discussed; related to the energy market, energy taxes, regulations, flexible contracts, financiers, role of stakeholders, like companies and end-users, and co-benefits.
