The Budapest team continuously works on the different assignments as part of ATELIER, including thematic experts to reach best possible results. The focus of the last few months was on the establishment of the city’s Smart City Planning Group.
Moreover, 10.000 local residents received letters from the Municipality of Budapest for the city’s first community meeting, where 50 selected people discussed important issues regarding climate strategy. Meetings were held twice in September with the aim of thoroughly discussing each topic and then making a proposal to decision makers. The working group responsible for the climate strategy will take into account the proposals formulated at the community meeting when drawing up the climate strategy of Budapest.
