Monitoring, Impact Assessment & Evaluation

ATELIER monitored and evaluated key performance indicators (KPIs) along multiple dimensions, including: energy, mobility, environment, socio-economics, spatial characteristics. Impacts were assessed not only for the operation of PEDs but also complemented by a life cycle analysis (LCA) expanding the broader perspective beyond the operational aspects of the PEDs. In order to estimate potential impacts beyond the PEDs, a GIS-based archetype approach was applied for different impact levels: demo/district/city/region scale. The performance of the PEDs was evaluated in order to provide regular feedback to PEDs as well as in order to benchmark against other SCC projects.
